WOMEN'S SPORTS AND WELLNESS SESSIONS

28th June 2025, Pill Mill Centre

Cynefin Pamoja CIC is  excited to host a series of women's sports and wellness sessions specifically designed for ethnic minority groups. These sessions aim to create an inclusive environment where women can come together to engage in physical activities that promote health and well-being while celebrating cultural diversity. Participants will have the opportunity to try various sports, from yoga to football, all facilitated by experienced coaches who understand the importance of cultural sensitivity. The next sessions will be 26th July 2025 at MOS GYM.

INTERGENERATIONAL DISOURSE PROJECT

26th April 2025, Barnabas Art House, Newport

Youth and Adult Project (17years - 85 Years) Speed dating between young and old to learn about culture. This is the only Intergenerational Project in Newport. We will aim to put on physical activities which are not common especially to Black, Asian, and ethnic minorities, for example walks in the woods including foraging, litter picking, crafts etc

Afro Hair Workshop

19th July 2025, Glossy Locks, Commercial Street Newport

Cynefin Pamoja is excited to announce a series of Afro hair workshops in Newport, aimed at celebrating the beauty and diversity of Afro hair. These workshops, designed for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, will provide attendees with valuable insights into the care and styling of Afro-textured hair. Participants will learn from experienced stylists about the importance of embracing natural hair, as well as techniques for maintenance and styling that encourage self-expression. Join us at these informative sessions to connect with the community, share experiences, and cultivate a greater appreciation for Afro heritage and culture.
